1973

The new generation of the Konica Autoreflex T came in 1973 as the T3. It further improved upon its predecessors – and with later serials of the model – a permanently mounted prism hotshoe (the prism hotshoe on the T and T2 was removeable). The T3 is a fully mechanical camera that offers shutter-priority AE. Batteries are only needed to power the meter. These cameras are relatively robust, and many can still be found in working order. If you’d like to try the Konica system, I recommend picking up the T3. While the T and T2 are excellent cameras, the T3 is the most refined.
